Vintage-loving friends, non gift-registering friends got married in San Diego. As a nod to wedding clichés of decades past, I decided a pristine vintage Osterizer blender would be the perfect tongue-in-cheek gift for the happy couple, especially when paired with a custom recipe illustration and some starter ingredients. Our AirBnB came complete with a prolific lime tree (total score!). And even better still, a portmanteau of their names (Tyler + Aleta) rhymes perfectly with a classic cocktail. Thus, the Tyleta Rita was born.
