I designed the program (cover and interior) for the 2011 Citizen Jane Film Festival in Columbia, MO. The theme was "Cirque du Cinema." The festival directors encouraged me to develop original elements for the program instead of incorporating that year's themed poster design. I chose to illustrate the careful balancing act all female filmmakers experience as they navigate a male-dominated industry.
